About the Stitch

The parallels stitch is comprised of chains and single crochets, which makes this a very easy stitch to accomplish.

The chains gives a very breathable fabric and almost a closed mesh type of material. This stitch would be great for warm weather tops or market bags.

This would be a great pattern/square for beginners and experienced crocheters alike to practice keeping even, consistent tension on their chains!! I know I could definitely improve in that area, despite more than 30 years of crocheting!!
