About the Stitch
The spider crochet stitch creates a beautiful subtle texture with no gaps or holes. A simple repeat of single crochets and chains into the chain spaces of the previous row makes for a mindless project.
It takes some getting used to to find the chain 1 spaces to work into, but once you get the hang of it, it is a very easy stitch.
This stitch would make a great baby blanket or for dishcloths and washcloths.
