These little itty bitty crochet snowmen are so cute!! They are made with blanket yarn which makes them so squishy, cute, and super quick to crochet. Make yours with the free crochet pattern below.
Mini Crochet Snowmen
These snowmen are only about 3″ tall and so perfect for a small tiny gift! They are also really quick to work up, so you can easily make a bunch for a small crowd.
I used Bernat Baby Blanket to make it plushie and soft. The super bulky yarn also helps to make these super quick to work up.
The whole snowman is only 9 rows! Each row goes by really quick and you only need to know how to single crochet and decrease.
Free Crochet Mini Snowman Pattern
Materials
Bernat Baby Blanket in white, orange, and scarf color of choice
5.00mm crochet hook
7mm safety eyes
Stuffing/Polyfil
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Stitch marker
Pattern Notes
Snowman will be worked in a spiral, use stitch marker to mark beginning of each round.
Snowman is worked all in one piece except scarf.
Invisible decrease: work a single crochet two together in the front loops only
Dimensions: ~3” tall

Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, inv dec = invisible decrease, st = stitchPattern
Snowman Head and Body
Use white yarn.
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 1, 6sc in ring (6)
Round 2: 2sc in each st around (12)
Round 3-4: sc in each st around (12)
Add safety eyes between Round 1 and 2 about 2 stitches apart.
Add nose with orange yarn and tapestry needle. Sew it centered between the eyes between Round 3 and 4.
Round 5: inv dec around (6)
Stuff head with stuffing.
Round 6: 2sc in each st around (12)
Round 7-8: sc in each st around (12)
Round 9: inv dec around (6)
Fasten off.
Stuff with stuffing.
Sew up hole with tapestry needle.
Scarf
Ch 20, fasten off. Tie around snowman neck. I tied it pretty snug so the head and body are really defined. Trim off excess yarn tails.
