Stocking Ornament Crochet Pattern

Materials:

Worsted weight yarn in red and white

3.75mm hook

Tapestry needle and scissors

Abbreviations: (US terms)

Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, dc = double crochet sk = skip, st = stitch, sc2tog = single crochet two together

Pattern

Start with red.

Round 1: Magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc in magic ring, join to first sc

Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, join to first sc

Round 3-6: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join to first sc

Round 7: Ch 1, sc in next 3 st, ch 6, sk 6, sc in last 3 st, join to first sc

Round 8: Ch 1, sc in each st around (including into the 6 ch), join to first sc

Round 9-15: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join to first sc

Change to white

Round 16: Ch 2, dc in each st around, join to first dc

Fasten off and weave in ends. Attach yarn to top to hang.

Attach white yarn to hole for the heal of the stocking.

Round 1: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join to first sc (12)

Round 2: Ch 1, sc2tog around, join to first sc (6)

Fasten off and leave tail for sewing up hole.
