About the Stitch

The spiked boxes stitch has small textured clusters in a subtle zig zag pattern. The basic stitches worked are hdc2tog and double crochets. The combination and placement of these stitches are what gives it its texture and pattern.

It can a bit confusing when working into the previous row, but the video tutorial as well as the picture along with the written pattern should help you visualize it much easier!

This stitch would be great for blankets, especially in stripes or color blocks to really showcase the stitches.
