About the Stitch

The reflections stitch is a play on the moss stitch but instead of single crochets, we are using half double crochets. This gives a much more airy texture and would be great to use for market bags and garments.

Beginning chain multiple: 2

Abbreviations (US terms)

Ch = chain, hdc = half double crochet, sk = skip, st = stitch, sp = space

Pattern

Row 1: Ch multiple of 2, hdc into 4th ch from hook, *ch 1, sk 1, hdc into next ch, repeat from * across, turn

Row 2: Ch 3, *hdc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1, repeat from * across, hdc in last ch sp, turn

Repeat Row 2 until desired height is achieved.
