If you’re looking for the perfect crochet/knit project bag to take on the go – look no further! In this post, I will be giving you my own thoughts as a crocheter on this transit tote and you can enter to win one of your own. Giveaway dates: Thursday, April 25, 9 AM PDT through Sunday, April 28, 9 PM PDT.
Quick reasons why I love using this tote:
- Has a zipper on the top.
- Has a pocket specifically for your phone.
- Good size to take multiple things with you on the go.
- Has several pockets to stay organized.
When I initially received this bag from Teri, I had an overnight hospital stay to plan for and I immediately knew this bag would hold all of my belongings. I was able to fit a skein of yarn, a change of clothes, items I normally would have in my purse, and a few toiletries. During this time, it was especially helpful to have a pocket just for my phone – I always knew right where it was and never had to dig around for it.
Since then, I have used it primarily as my crochet bag which currently fits 4 skeins of yarn along with my work in progress (which is a blanket), my notebook and pen, my crochet hook case, scissors, tape measurer, etc. I don’t normally take my crochet out and on the go, but I have on a few occasions and this bag was wonderful for it!
It fits over the shoulder with sturdy straps and does not feel too large or clunky. I am a naturally petite person, so I do often have issues with bags being way too big or awkward to carry! With that being said, it surprisingly holds a lot and I always feel like I have plenty of room to put in just a ‘few more’ small items.
