This sweet little daisy is the perfect addition to the spring themed blanket!
I think it would also look great on its own little blanket – either just a few daisies for a finishing touch or a blanket full of daisies on different colored squares.
No matter how you create your project, this daisy is very simple and easy to make!

Materials
Worsted weight yarn in white and yellow
F/3.75mm hook
Tapestry needle and scissors
Notes
Beginning chains do not count as a stitch.
Abbreviations (US terms)
Ch = chain, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, sl st = slip stitch, st = stitch
Pattern
Use yellow.
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 12hdc in ring, join to first hdc (12)
Change to white.
Round 2: *Ch 8, dc in 3rd ch from hook and across ch, sl st into next st, repeat from * around
Join to base of first petal.
Fasten off.
Make 4 daisies and sew them onto the cream granny squares for the Spring Blanket.

J/6.00mm hook
Tapestry needle

Beginning chain does not count as a stitch UNLESS otherwise stated.
Granny square will start with a circle and form into a square.
Finished square measures roughly 5.5” when using Knit Picks Brava Worsted.
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 12 dc in ring, join to first dc (12)
Round 2: Ch 2, 2dc in each st around, join to first dc (24)
Round 3: Ch 3 (counts as stitch), (dc, ch 2, 2dc) in same st as ch 3, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, *(2dc, ch 2, 2dc) all in next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, repeat from * around, join to beginning ch 3
Round 4: Sl st to ch 2 space from previous row, Ch 3 (counts as st) (dc, ch 2, 2dc) all in same ch 2 space, dc across, *(2dc, ch 2, 2dc) all in ch 2 space from previous row, dc across, repeat from * around, join to beginning ch 3
Round 5: Repeat Round 4
Fasten off and weave in ends.
