Materials
Worsted weight yarn in brown, red, and mustard yellow
4.00mm hook
Scissors and tapestry needle
Notes
Beginning chain does not count as a stitch.
Pattern
Make one leaf in each color for each square.
Row 1: Ch 15, sl st into 2nd ch from hook, sl st into next 3 st, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, tr in next 4 st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, 3sc in last st
Rotate to work on other side of the chain, starting in the 2nd ch from the end.
Opposite side of Row 1: hdc, dc in next st, tr in next 4 st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st, sl st in next st. Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.
Sew vein onto leaf using photo as a guide.
Granny Square Pattern
K/6.50mm hook
Tapestry needle

Notes:
Beginning chain does not count as a stitch UNLESS otherwise stated. Granny square will start with a circle and form into a square.
Finished square measures roughly 8” x 8”.
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 12 dc in ring, join to first dc (12)
Round 2: Ch 2, 2dc in each st around, join to first dc (24)
Round 3: Ch 3 (counts as stitch), (dc, ch 2, 2dc) in same st as ch 3, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, *(2dc, ch 2, 2dc) all in next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, repeat from * around, join to beginning ch 3
Round 4: Sl st to ch 2 space from previous row, Ch 3 (counts as st) (dc, ch 2, 2dc) all in same ch 2 space, dc across, *(2dc, ch 2, 2dc) all in ch 2 space from previous row, dc across, repeat from * around, join to beginning ch 3
Round 5-6: Repeat Round 4
Fasten off and weave in ends.
