About the Stitch
The crossover gives a beautiful thick, texture. The stitches are very simple, but the placement of the stitches take some getting used to.
This stitch would make great dishcloths, hot pads, baskets, or anything you would like a nice thick fabric for.

Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, YO = yarn over, st = stitch, sk = skip
Row 1: Ch multiple of 2 + 1, sc in 2nd ch from hook, *insert hook in same space as last st, YO, pull up a loop, sk next ch, insert hook into next ch, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through all 3 loops, ch 1, repeat from * across, sc in last ch, turn
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, *insert hook in same space as last st, YO, pull up a loop, sk next st, insert hook into next st, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through all 3 loops, ch 1, repeat from * across, sc in last st, turn
Repeat Row 2.
