Mittens Applique Free Crochet Pattern
Materials
Blue and white yarn
5.00mm hook
Tapestry needle/scissors
Notes
Make sets of mittens in each blue color (midnight blue, kingfisher blue, duck egg blue, seafoam blue)
Abbrevations (US terms)
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, sc2tog = single crochet two together, dc = double crochet, sl st = slip stitch, st = stitch, sp = space
Pattern
Start with white yarn.
Row 1: Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (4)
Change to blue.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (4)
Row 3: Ch 2, dc, ch 2, sl st into same dc sp, sc in next 2 st, 2sc in last st, turn (6)
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in next 4 st, turn (4)
Row 5-6: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (4)
Row 7: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc2tog (2)
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.
Make two.
