Hot Chocolate Applique Free Crochet Pattern
Materials
Blue, brown, white yarn
5.00mm hook
Tapestry needle/scissors
Notes
Make mugs one in each blue color (midnight blue, kingfisher blue, duck egg blue, seafoam blue)
Abbreviations (US terms)
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, tr = treble crochet, sl st = slip stitch, st = stitch
Pattern
Use blue yarn.
Mug
Row 1: Ch 9, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (8)
Row 2: Ch 1, 2hdc, hdc in next 6 st, 2hdc in last st, turn (10)
Row 3-6: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (10)
Row 7: Ch 1, sc in next 2 st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, tr in next 2 st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in last 2 st
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.
Handle
Attach yarn on side of Row 2 on the right side of the mug. Ch 11, sl st into Row 7 of side of mug, turn, sc in each ch across, sl st into side of mug.
Hot chocolate
Use brown yarn.
Row 1: Ch 9, sl st into 2nd ch from hook, sc into next ch, hdc into next ch, dc into next 2 ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, sl st into last ch
Fasten off and leave tail. Sew onto top of mug using photo as a guide.
Marshmallows
Use white yarn.
Row 1: Ch 3, sc in 2nd ch and next ch, turn (2)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across (2)
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing. Sew onto mug using photo as a guide.
Make two.
