These crochet chunky ear warmers are nice and quick to work up. You can add a cinch to the middle or keep it as is. Make a few with just one skein of yarn with the free crochet pattern below.
Crochet Chunky Ear Warmer
For this ear warmer, I used bulky 5 yarn for two reasons. 1. For it to be worked up quickly and 2. For a chunky, cozy feel.
I really enjoy using Loops and Threads Charisma from Michael’s. It is my favorite Bulky 5 yarn to use that feels like a true Bulky 5 weight. It comes in a bunch of colors and is very soft! I definitely recommend trying this yarn if you haven’t already. You can make two of these ear warmers with just one of the skeins.
Basic stitches are used for this ear warmer: single crochets and double crochets. They are arranged in a way so the single crochets are stacked on top of the single crochets and the double crochets are stacked on top of the double crochets. It creates a really pretty, subtle texture and is super easy to crochet!
