Crochet Stitches for Dishcloths

For all of June 2026, I put together a fun event for crocheters that is absolutely free that involves cotton yarn and crochet stitches to try out! All month long, I will be sharing crochet stitch tutorials (both video and written tutorials).

These crochet stitches are great for dishcloths, but of course you can make anything you want! Smaller squares for cup coasters or bigger squares in your favorite fiber to create a blanket in the end.

How to Participate

1. Download the PDF below that contains the Calendar Overview along with links to the stitch tutorials.
2. Get your cotton yarn and crochet hooks ready! I recommend using worsted weight cotton yarn along with a 5.00mm or 6.00mm crochet hook.
3. Each day, check the calendar for the stitch you will learn to crochet. Use the written and/or video tutorial to start crocheting!
4. You can follow along with me on my socials that I’ve linked below as I will be making my own samples and dishcloths as well.

Note: All crochet stitch tutorials are already up and ready to use on both my blog and YouTube channel. I have just hand picked the ones I felt are great for dishcloths and organized them in a way that would be fun and convenient to work through. Feel free to work at your own pace. Weekends are empty to either catch up or to take a break in between weeks.
