The griddle stitch is so easy to crochet and gives you a beautiful, subtle texture for your project. You just need to know the basic stitches (chain, single crochet, and double crochet). Below you will find the written pattern for this versatile crochet stitch.

I have used this easy crochet stitch for multiple crochet projects. It’s my go to when I want to add a little texture but use only simple stitches for something quick and mindless.
