The crochet bean stitch gives a soft, cozy texture that is both eye catching and stylish. I love using this stitch when I want an easy stitch to crochet with a pretty texture. Below you will find both the written pattern along with the video tutorial.

Notes
Use a crochet hook that is a size or two bigger than you normally would for the weight of yarn you use. This stitch needs room so it doesn’t become too stiff.
Stitch multiple: any even number
Bean Stitch: insert hook into st, YO, pull up a loop, *YO, insert hook into same st, YO, pull up a loop, repeat from * one more time, pull through all 6 loops on your hook, ch 1
Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, st = stitch, sk = skip
Row 1: Ch any even number, sc into 2nd ch from hook, sc in each st cross, turn
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, *sk 1, bean stitch in next st, repeat from * across until you have 2 st left, sc in last st, turn
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first st, *sk 1, bean st in next st, repeat from * across, sc in last st, turn
Repeat Row 3
