Make 2 gingerbread. Embellish one of the gingerbread:
Attach safety eyes or create a french knot with black yarn and a tapestry needle.
Use black yarn and tapestry needle to sew on mouth.
Sew on buttons with needle and thread or glue them on with hot glue.
Hold two sides of the gingerbread together, the embellishments facing outward on top.
Attach white yarn and single crochet around joining them together. Half way around, stuff lightly with polyfil. Continue to single crochet around and join to first single crochet. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Attach white yarn to top for hanging.
