Crochet Peppermint Ornament Pattern
Materials
Worsted weight yarn in red and white
H/5.00mm hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Notes
Beginning chain does not count as a stitch.
Abbreviations:(US terms)
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, st = stitch
Pattern
Use white yarn.
Round 1: Magic ring, 8sc, join to first sc
For Round 2, we will change colors after every stitch, alternating red and white.
Round 2: Ch 2, 2dc in each st, join to first dc
Fasten off.
Make 2 peppermint sides.
Join both peppermints using white yarn and tapestry needle using the whip stitch. Only sew together the inner loops.
Wrapper
Use white.
Round 1: Magic ring, 6sc
Round 2: Ch 1, 2hdc in each st
Fasten off.
Make two.
Sew onto the sides of peppermint.
