Crochet Lemonade Applique Pattern

Lemonade Crochet Pattern

 Materials

Yellow, white, and pink yarn
4.00 mm hook
Tapestry needle and scissors

Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet,
hdc = half double crochet,
dc = double crochet, st = stitch,
sl st = slip stitch

Pattern

Cup

Start with yellow yarn.

Row 1: Ch 8, hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (7)

Row 2: Ch 1, 2hdc, hdc in next 5 st, 2hdc, turn (9)

Row 3-7: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (9)

Change to white yarn.

Row 8: Ch 2, dc in each st across

Fasten off.

Ice Cubes

Use white yarn.

Row 1: Ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (3)

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across (3)

Fasten off. Make 2 ice cubes.

Sew onto lemonade cup.

Lemon

Start with yellow yarn.

Row 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 10dc in ring, turn

Change to white

Row 2: Ch 1, sl st in each st across

Leave tail and sew on segments of lemon.

Straw

Use pink yarn.

Row 1: Ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (6)

Fasten off.
