Flip Flops Crochet Pattern
Materials
Pink, yellow, green, and blue yarn
4.00mm hook
Tapestry needle and scissors
Notes: For the summer blanket, make 4 pairs of flip flops in all 4 colors with contrasting color straps.
Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, dc = double crochet, tr = treble crochet, st = stitch
Pattern
Round 1: Ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 3 ch, 3sc in last st, turn to work on other side of ch, sc in next 4 st, 3sc in last st, join to first sc
Round 2: Ch 1, sc in next 4 st, 2dc in next 3 st, sc in next 5 st, 2tr in next 3 st, ch 3, join to first st
(Note: The last 2tr will be made in the beginning ch 1.)
Fasten off.
Make two for each pair of flip flops.
Use tapestry needle and contrasting color to sew on straps.
For the Summer Blanket, I made my flip flops the following colors:
Blue flip flops with green straps.
Pink flip flops with yellow straps.
Green flip flops with pink straps.
Yellow flip flops with blue straps.
