Popsicle Crochet Pattern
Materials
Pink, yellow, blue, and tan worsted weight yarn
4.00mm hook
Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, hdc = half double crochet, hdc2tog = half double crochet two together, st = stitch
Pattern
Start with pink yarn.
Row 1: Ch 11, hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (10)
Row 2-3: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (10)
Change to yellow yarn.
Row 4-6: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (10)
Change to blue yarn.
Row 7: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (10)
Row 8: Ch 1, hdc2tog, hdc in next 6 st, hdc2tog, turn (8)
Row 9: Ch 1, hdc2tog across (4)
Fasten off.
Turn popsicle upside down so you are working into the first row:
Attach tan yarn 4 st in from the right.
Row 1: Ch 1, hdc in next 4 st, turn (4)
Row 2-3: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (4)
Row 4: Ch 1, hdc2tog across (2)
Fasten off.
