Crochet Soda Cup Applique Free Pattern

Crochet Soda Cup Pattern

Materials

Worsted weight yarn in red and white

4.00mm crochet hook

Tapestry needle

Scissors

Pattern Notes

Beginning chain does not count as a stitch.

Abbreviations (US terms)

Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, hdc = half double crochet, st = stitch

Crochet Pattern

Use red and white yarn with 4.00mm crochet hook.

Start with white yarn.

Cup

Row 1: Ch 11, hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (10)

Row 2-3: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (10)

Change to red.

Row 4-7: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (10)

Change to white.

Row 8: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (10)

Row 9: Ch 1, 2hdc in first st, hdc in next 8 st, 2hdc in last st (12)

Fasten off.

Straw

Use red.

Row 1: Ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 3 st, 3sc in next st, sc in each remaining ch

Fasten off.

Sew straw onto cup.
