Crochet Christmas Cup Coasters Pattern Overview

These crochet Christmas coasters are very basic and versatile. I used my basic cup coaster pattern and simply changed up the colors and added small embellishments/appliqués to make it “The Grinch” theme.

For crochet coasters, you will want to be sure to make them with 100% cotton yarn. I used I Love This Cotton! from Hobby Lobby, which I find to be a fan favorite to work with. Their line also had the perfect green color to represent the grinch. The color is called “bright citrus”. You will find all the color yarn details below in the materials list as well.

We will be using basic stitches as well as the bobble stitch for the border. The entire coaster is only 6 rows so they are easy and quick to complete in one evening.
