Crochet Halloween Plushies
I’ve made a whole set of crochet Halloween themed plushies. A ghost, kitty cat, pumpkin, and this Frankenstein!
This set is so adorable and perfect for selling and gifting! These crochet plushies are made with blanket yarn, 35mm safety eyes, and all stand around 8″ tall.

Materials
Bernat Baby Blanket in Lemon Lime
Bernat Blanket in Coal
Polyfil
6.5mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle and scissors

Beginning chain does not count as a stitch.
Will be worked from the bottom up.
Thoroughly stuff the Frankenstein to make it a slightly square shape. Overstuffing the corners while shaping will give you this look.
Invisible sc2tog: work sc2tog as normal except only use front loops of stitches.
Dimensions: ~8” in height

Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, sc2tog = single crochet two together, st = stitch
Crochet Pattern
Start with green yarn.
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 1, 10sc, join to first st (10)
Round 2: Ch 1, 2sc in each st around, join to first st (20)
Round 3: Ch 1, sc in first st, 2sc in next st, *sc in next st, 2sc in next st, repeat from * around, join to first st (30)
Round 4: Ch 1, *sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st, repeat from * around, repeat from * around, join to first st (40)
Round 5: Ch 1, *sc in next 3 st, 2sc in next st, repeat from * around, repeat from * around, join to first st (50)
Round 6: Ch 1, *sc in next 4 st, 2sc in next st, repeat from * around, repeat from * around, join to first st (60)
Round 7-22: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join to first st (60)
Change to black yarn.
Round 23: Ch 1, *sc in next 2 st, sc in next st one row down, repeat from * around, sc in last 2 st, join to first st
Round 24: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join to first st
Round 25: Ch 1, *sc in next 4 st, invisible sc2tog over next 2 st, repeat from * around, join to first st
Attach safety eyes and use black yarn and tapestry needle to sew on mouth and eyebrow scar.
Safety eye placement: between rows 17&18 (row count starts from the bottom), about 7 stitches apart.
Stuff with polyfil.
Round 26: Ch 1, *sc in next 3 st, invisible sc2tog over next 2 st, repeat from * around, join to first st
Round 27: Ch 1, *sc in next 2 st, invisible sc2tog over next 2 st, repeat from * around, join to first st
Round 28: Ch 1, *sc in next st, invisible sc2tog over next 2 st, repeat from * around, join to first st
Round 29: Ch 1, *invisible sc2tog over next 2 st, repeat from * around, join to first st
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing up the hole. Be sure Frankenstein is stuffed to your liking. Use tapestry needle to sew up bottom hole. Weave in ends.
