Materials
Worsted weight yarn in light purple
Tapestry needle + Scissors
Notes
Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, st = stitch
Pattern
Body
Round 1: Magic ring, ch 1, 10hdc into ring, join to first st
Round 2: Ch 1, 2hdc in each st around, join to first st
Round 3: Ch 1, sc into next 7 st, 2hdc into next 3 st, dc into next st, 2dc into next st, dc into next st, 2dc into next st, 2hdc into next 3 st, sc into last 3 st, join to first st
Do not fasten off. We will continue to work on the tentacles.
Tentacles
*Ch 9, sc into 2nd ch from hook and into next 3 st, hdc into next 2 st, dc in last 2 st, join to space where you started the ch, sl st into next st on the body, repeat from * to make 3 more tentacles.
Fasten off.
