Materials

Worsted weight yarn in blue and black

G/4.00 mm crochet hook

6mm safety eye

Tapestry needle + Scissors

Notes

Abbreviations (US terms):

Ch = chain, sc = single crochet, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, st = stitch, sl st = slip stitch

Pattern

Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 10dc in ring, join to first st

Round 2: Ch 2, 2dc in each st around, join to first st

Round 3: Ch 1, hdc in first st, 2hdc in next st, *hdc in next st, 2hdc in next st, repeat from * around, join to first st

Do not fasten off. We will start to work on the tail.

Row 1: Ch 1, sc in first st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, turn

Row 2-3: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn

Row 4: Ch 2, (dc, ch 2, dc) in first st, sl st in next st, (dc, ch 2, dc) in next st, fasten off.

Attach eye and sew on mouth with black yarn and tapestry needle.
